Blackbirds See the Light!

Mrs Burke’s Third Class recently learned about electricity and the importance of safety in handling electrical items.  Afterwards they made circuits and succeeded in lighting bulbs.  They even managed to incorporate simple switches in their circuits.  They also studied the effect of static electricity on one another’s hair and on everyday items such as paper, tinfoil, polystyrene and rice crispies.  It seems there are a number of budding electrical engineers in the group!
