Well done to the Victoria, Nikolai, Aaron, Liam and Ciarán from 5th class who all donned their green fingers this morning to plant 3 beautiful apple trees on the field. The children were busy digging and planting as well as cutting protective gauze for the young saplings. Thanks to our neighbours, the Salesian Fathers and especially Fr. Koenraad for allowing us to plant the trees. A big thank you to our local Supervalu who also donated the trees to the school.

Here’s hoping there will be a bountiful harvest of apples in years to come. Maith sibh páistí.
