Igloo Maths Project
Further to our Numeracy improvement plan, a target of which was to make Maths more relevant and fun for children, we have embarked on the building of an igloo using plastic milk cartons. Concepts of area, space, fractions, number value, calculation, estimation and much more are developed through participation in the design and building of the igloo. A big “Thank you” to Mrs Fenton and Mark Collins for spearheading and organising this most educational and enjoyable Maths project.
