Book Drop
Dear parents,
We will operate a ‘book drop’ facility in the school gym on Monday and Tuesday (22nd & 23rd June). There will be signage in place to direct you to the entry door when you arrive at the school. You may park in the staff car park. We request that only one adult per family enters the gym when returning the books.
How does it work?
- Gym will be open for the book drop off on Monday and Tuesday (8am – 2pm).
- Parents place the specified books (see below) in a bag labelled with their child’s name. Please use separate bags for each child that needs to return books.
- One door entry and one door exit (doors left open)
- Please enter the gym via the designated entry door.
- 19 Boxes located inside the gym – one for each class
- Parent drops child’s books into their assigned box (teachers name on box).
- Please exit the gym via the designated exit door.
In accordance with HSE and Government advice, we are asking people to observe the following:
- Avoid close contact with people – keep a distance of 2 metres (6.5 feet) between you and others.
- Avoid lingering at the school.
- Do not shake hands.
- Avoid touching surfaces.
- Please feel free to wear a mask and gloves.
Digital Devices
Sixth class pupils who borrowed a digital device should return the device in a labelled bag on either Monday or Tuesday. A separate box labelled ‘Digital Devices’ will be located at the Exit Door. Families with children in all other classes, who borrowed a digital device, may continue to use the device during the summer months.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. Wishing you and your family a lovely weekend.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
Diarmaid
