Nature Walks and Exploring with Geoff Hunt

Second Class made the most of this week’s beautiful weather.

On Tuesday morning Geoff Hunt visited Milford to teach the children about minibeasts. Everyone had great fun searching the school gardens for slugs, snails, woodlouse, ants, spiders, centipedes and more. The children worked in groups and logged everything they found. Second class collected a variety of minibeasts which they examined and made drawings of.

On Friday afternoon second class walked to UL on an autumn nature hunt. Everyone had a checklist of the autumn treasures they needed to find. We found plenty and had great fun!
